What a day at Assembly! 

Abby won the walk to school prize and received a certificate. 

Room 4 won best class.

Spaghetti Tower Challenge

On Friendship Friday Room 4 had to work in teams to complete the Spaghetti Tower Challenge. 

The students had 18 minutes to construct the highest tower that could withhold a marshmallow at the top.

Reading Buddies

During Reading time our buddies come out to learn...

Say Hello to Barry the Bear, Gary the Gorilla, Elly the Elephant, Leo the Lion and our small friends Kiki the Koala and Chelsea the Cow.

On a Friday the children get to take them home.

The students had to use alliteration to describe themselves. We then used pastel and dye to complete the look. Miss B thinks they have done a great job!

Self Portraits

Here are a few examples of the wonderful self portraits currently displayed in our class. 

The students only used sketching pencils to achieve this. 

Along the way the students also learnt about symmetry, as the face has to look symmetrical when sketching. 

The students also learnt different shading techniques.
